Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Wind Turbine Technician I to join our team in Pincher Creek, Alberta. As a Wind Turbine Technician I, you will be responsible for performing scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled service and maintenance on wind turbines
- Conduct fault analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Perform main component or blade work as required
- Work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) certifications from the Global Wind Organization (GWO)
- 1-2 years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
