Physiotherapist - Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Re:Function Health Group Inc. in Surrey. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients who have sustained work-related injuries. Your expertise will be utilized in our Occupational Rehab programs, working alongside Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, Physicians, and Kinesiologists to support injured workers in their rehabilitation journey.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct evidence-based assessments to identify impairments and create treatment plans for return to work.
- Prescribe and coach exercise therapy to promote client independence and a timely return to work.
- Communicate assessment findings and treatment outcomes to clients and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide education and support to clients on safe return to work practices.
- Participate in team conferences to discuss client progress and develop rehabilitation plans.
- University Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Member in good standing with the College of Physical Therapists in BC (CPTBC).
- Possess malpractice insurance of at least $5 million per occurrence.
- Comply with CAPR and CPTBC practice requirements.
- Interim Registered Applicants welcome.
- Dry-Needling/IMS an advantage but not required.
- Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
