  • This role requires excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and security best practices.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Perform routine network start up and close down, and maintain control records.
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.

**Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; College diploma or other non-university certificate/diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role; less than 2 years of experience preferred.

**Salary Range:** $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
