Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly reliable and skilled Heavy-Duty Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Jan Pro.

About the Role:

This is a permanent position that requires minimal supervision, with a working schedule of 35 hours per week. As a Heavy-Duty Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our establishment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse from the premises.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers on a regular basis to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and showers.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a sparkling appearance.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment as needed.
  • Perform safety and security checks to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
