Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Reservations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain an inventory of vacancies and room assignments.
  • Customer Service: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, answer telephone calls and messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize word processing software, database software, and spreadsheet applications.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Conditions: Standing for extended periods, work under pressure, and attention to detail.
