Job Title: Agriculture Foreman

Brandt is seeking an experienced Agriculture Foreman to join our team in Melfort, SK. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for supervising the effective operation of the Service Department to ensure quality standards and productivity requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the Service Department to ensure efficient and effective operation
  • Assist in the appraisal of repair orders and participate in repairs as needed
  • Act as a point-of-contact for technicians on equipment repair inquiries and updates
  • Direct and assist in the diagnosis of machine problems and recommend repairs
  • Inspect and repair special tools and recommend new tooling as required
  • Coordinate and schedule in-house technician training
  • Assist in the coordination and conducting of quarterly safety meetings
  • Support Service Advisors by responding to technical questions from customers
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Service Technician, Journeyman certification preferred
  • Experience in diagnosing hydraulic and electrical issues on Agriculture equipment preferred
  • Familiar with company (John Deere Agriculture) and competitive products
  • Forklift license preferred
  • Ability to lead and coach others
  • Ability to communicate effectively, negotiate, and resolve conflicts
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Basic understanding of financial principles related to service department operations
