- Directs the formulation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and corresponding risk appetite declarations.
- Oversees the establishment, assessment, and execution of enterprise-wide risk and control oversight mechanisms.
- Plays a pivotal role in shaping strategic initiatives through the development and execution of Risk Management approaches.
- Facilitates engagement with critical stakeholders to ensure the identification, evaluation, and mitigation of significant risks.
- Delivers comprehensive risk reports to the Board, Executive Team, and Risk Management division.
- Chairs essential risk management committees and nurtures relationships with regulatory partners.
- Effectively leads and develops the Risk Management team.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in risk management at a senior level within a financial institution regulated by OSFI.
- In-depth understanding of credit, market, liquidity, and operational risk frameworks.
- Strong familiarity with OSFI regulations and risk management best practices.
- Proven track record of ensuring effective risk management in a dynamic environment.
