Overview

The Salvation Army is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of Emergency Service Coordinator. This position is responsible for providing emergency assistance services to families and individuals in need, while also overseeing the delivery of case management services to 3-5 families at a time.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting client needs assessments, determining the type and level of emergency service needed, and providing support to clients in crisis situations. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating with corps officers, and participating in local service provider meetings.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer service orientation. They will be able to work in an active office environment, think critically, and determine appropriate steps to assure task completion. Bi-lingual (Spanish) proficiency is preferred.
