Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the University Health Network. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in empowering and supporting clients through their recovery, enabling them to reach their fully functional and work reintegration potential.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in treating clients with work-related injuries, MVA, and experience in the third-party healthcare system. They will be responsible for providing hands-on knowledge, skills, and abilities in the treatment of concussions/traumatic brain injuries, MSK injuries, chronic pain management, and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide client-centered services that address physical, psychosocial, and behavioral issues related to injury or illness.
- Treat clients and enable them to reach their fully functional and work reintegration potential in collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Perform cross-functional duties and cross-site duties, as assigned or requested.
- University Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Certificate of Registration with the relevant College.
- Two (2) years related experience in the treatment of clients/patients with work-related injuries, MVA, and/or experience in the third-party healthcare system.
- Concussion/TBI and mental health experience preferred.
- FAE and Return to Work planning skills preferred.
- WorkWell certification preferred.
