Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy breakfast restaurant.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to maintain our high standards.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate our kitchen staff to ensure excellent food quality and presentation.
- Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to new staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified staff to join our team.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with high energy and pressure.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure excellent food quality and presentation.
- Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong client focus and commitment to excellent customer service.

- On-the-Job Training: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth.
- Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Veterans.
- Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Community Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
