Senior Business Analyst

Aon is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Client Information Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting client teams in the servicing of clients with respect to plan design, contract management, and benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review contract, amendments, and financial agreements as part of plan changes and change in carrier or new client onboarding;
  • Support and maintain data collection and accuracy in Aon's proprietary client information platform;
  • Review, audit, and maintain client plan information;
  • Create, compare, and review plan summaries working with client teams;
  • Create and review plan prevalence benchmarking reports;
  • Assist with ad-hoc client service questions, work with carriers and other business units to resolve and support clients;
  • Draft reports and correspondence;
  • Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams with colleagues, clients, client teams, and carriers;
  • Increase efficiency by identifying ways to improve standardized processes to add value to client deliverables;
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the group benefits industry, systems, products, trends, and emerging technology, while having a thorough understanding of how this relates to increasing value to clients;
  • Participate in team projects and activities which drive innovation, improved client value, and business results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of progressive work experience in group insurance would be considered an asset;
  • Demonstrated skills in organization, collaboration, detail-oriented;
  • Bi-lingual (English, French) abilities would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written) skills;
  • Must be a highly motivated, accountable, customer service, and team-oriented individual;
  • Need someone who is a self-starter and who has curiosity. Someone who has interest in continually learning and challenging themselves to think outside of the box and step outside of their comfort zone;
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, ability to work under deadlines, and work on several projects simultaneously is critical;
  • Works well as part of a team and ability to self-manage;
  • Ability to discover, ask key questions, and seek guidance where appropriate. Interest to think beyond day-to-day tasks and understand how your work aligns to the success of Aon's Health Solutions practice;
  • Applicants who do not have the industry experience but have the required education and skills will also be considered.

Education:

  • University or College graduate in Financial Services, or related discipline, or equivalent years of industry experience;
  • Commitment to professional development.
