About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Specialist to join our team at Aitchison College of Technology & Health Sciences Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies across various digital platforms.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Venture Capital Sources: Conduct market research to identify potential venture capital sources and develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Respond to Enquiries: Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities.
  • Conduct Surveys: Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers.
  • Develop Profiles: Develop social and economic profiles of an area to encourage industrial and commercial investment.
  • Research Marketing Strategies: Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles.
  • Advise Clients: Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies.
  • Answer Inquiries: Answer written and oral inquiries.
  • Assist in Preparation: Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material.
  • Gather Communications Material: Gather, research and prepare communications material.
  • Maintain Contact: Initiate and maintain contact with the media.
  • Deliver Programs: Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions.
  • Provide Consulting Services: Provide consulting services to government and other organizations.
  • Conduct Surveys: Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends.
  • Design Research Questionnaires: Design market research questionnaires.
  • Evaluate Customer Service: Evaluate customer service and store environments.
  • Design Research Projects: Design, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative research projects.
  • Develop Feasibility Studies: Develop feasibility studies.
  • Implement Online Marketing: Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions.
  • Prepare Funding Applications: Prepare funding applications.
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise office and volunteer staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Language: English.
