We are seeking a skilled Food Service Lead to join our team at Fourteen 14 Food Co. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in supervising and coordinating staff, as well as training them on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: The Food Service Lead will oversee the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including supervising and checking assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Train and Develop Staff: The incumbent will train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: The Food Service Lead will ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customer complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: The successful candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Schedule: The Food Service Lead will work approximately 32-35 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is $40,000 - $55,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
