About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Ausenco. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering mechanical engineering design solutions that meet our clients' needs.

  • Lead the development of mechanical engineering designs and deliverables, ensuring they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and improve project efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our engineering processes and deliverables.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design engineering. You will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in a relevant industry, preferably with gold and copper experience.

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality mechanical engineering designs and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
