About the Opportunity

Ausenco is a leading consulting company that delivers innovative solutions for complex projects. We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Burlington.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project delivery and team performance.
About You
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the mining, mineral processing, or materials handling industries.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CAD, 3D software, and MS Office, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
