Home Support Worker Program

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is dedicated to providing Canadians with exceptional care in the comfort of their own homes. As a leader in the home- and community care industry, we are pioneering a unique paid healthcare education program.

Program Overview

This 10-week program combines paid virtual classroom training, paid on-the-job training, and employment opportunities for compassionate and independent individuals who are eager to enter the field of healthcare.

Qualifications

To be successful in this program, you will need:

  • Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • A clear Vulnerable Sector Screening check upon hire
  • The ability to commit to 10 weeks of full-time training

This program is in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development Skills Fund, Government of Canada, and the Government of Ontario.
