The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and executing effective educational programs.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and evaluate educational initiatives that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes. As a Medical Education Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the orthopaedic education landscape, including trends, customer priorities, and competition;
  • Identifying needs for medical education and utilizing existing and/or new resources to support HCP programs;
  • Planning and executing educational initiatives that align with business objectives;
  • Leading the measurement of training effectiveness and adoption;

You will work closely with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, customers, and internal teams, to develop and deliver high-quality educational content that drives learning and engagement. Your expertise in adult education principles, best practices, and research will enable you to drive innovation in learning delivery and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Communication, or a related field;
  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, medical education, and/or training, preferably in the medical device (joint replacement) or pharmaceutical industry;
  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills;
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft O365, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams;

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including RRSP matching, tuition reimbursement, flexible paid holidays, and more.
