Medical Information Specialist Job Description

BioSyent Pharma Inc is seeking a highly skilled Medical Information Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Information Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and current medical information to healthcare professionals, customers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries related to assigned products with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Provide precise medical and safety information based on current scientific data and published literature.
  • Assist commercial teams in responding to medical inquiries from healthcare providers.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Clinical/Science Degree (e.g., MD, PharmD, RN, or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years of relevant medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with Health Canada and other Canadian advertising preclearance agencies (e.g., PAAB, Ad Standards).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong cognitive abilities, including critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to translate complex medical information for consumers and healthcare professionals.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in French is an asset.
