About the Role

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management office, you will be responsible for planning and executing complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Delivery: Develop and execute project plans, manage project scope, and ensure timely delivery of IT solutions.
  2. Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and visibility into project status, risks, and action items.
  3. Launch Coordination: Develop and implement launch plans, ensuring smooth project releases and minimal disruption to business operations.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  1. 8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager with cross-functional teams.
  2. Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  3. Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  4. Experience with project management tools, such as Workfront, JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.
Desirable Skills
  1. Experience with website-build projects and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  2. PMP/PMI/Agile/CSM/CAPM certification.
  3. Experience working in a financial institution or a similar industry.

  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  3. Results-focused, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
  4. Superior critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, computer science, or a related field. PMP/PMI/Agile/CSM/CAPM certification is an asset.
