Afternoon Shift Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Afternoon Shift Supervisor to join our team at Osborne - Recruitment Consultancy. As a key member of our housing program, you will play a critical role in supporting the well-being and safety of our tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a unionized workforce and provide case management expertise to Community Housing Workers
  • Prioritize and assign shift responsibilities and duties to team members
  • Ensure the safety of tenants and the building through access control and regular monitoring of life safety systems
  • Intervene in crises, de-escalate conflicts, and respond to tenant emergencies
  • Liaise with Property Management and file work orders for repairs
  • Manage employee performance and perform administrative duties
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years' experience working with people who are homeless or under-housed
  • Demonstrated experience performing case management functions and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Supervisory experience in a unionized setting an asset
