Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our client's manufacturing team in Orillia, Ontario. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a team of production workers to achieve optimal productivity and quality standards.
- Ensure the safety of self, colleagues, and equipment by maintaining a vigilant and proactive approach.
- Manage ADP Time Management, including entering, revising employee timecards, and requesting vacation on behalf of employees.
- Conduct regular shift meetings to drive a culture of safety, efficiency, and productivity.
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to ensure necessary staffing and availability of day-to-day supplies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Provide ongoing training and development for team members to build skills and encourage career growth.
- 5 years' work experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive work environment.
