Shift Supervisor

As a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores during scheduled shifts. You will be responsible for leading a team of baristas and providing legendary customer service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of baristas to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and comfortable store environment.
- Assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.
- Anticipate customer needs and communicate effectively with the team to ensure seamless service.
- Provide coaching and feedback to partners to improve performance and achieve operational excellence.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing and addressing individual motivation, need, and concerns.
- Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
- Develop positive relationships with shift team members by understanding and addressing individual motivation, need, and concerns.
- Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
- Follow up with baristas during the shift to ensure the delivery of legendary customer service for all customers.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational tools and by collaborating with store manager to find new, creative, and effective methods of recognition.
- Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
- Ability to direct the work of others.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Effective oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of the retail environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
