Operational Readiness Program Manager

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a project manager role on complex projects/programs, including contributing to project strategies, program planning, and critical path management. Experience with cutover and operational readiness activities, stakeholder management, and high-level competency in relationship management are also essential.
This role requires excellent facilitation and coordination skills, with the ability to work comfortably in a liaison role. A strong understanding of how business operational management priorities interact with project commitments, demonstrated by experience supporting/liaising with business leaders, is also required.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience. This position is based in Nova Scotia, offering a unique opportunity to work with a public sector organization. If you have a passion for project management and operational readiness, we encourage you to apply.
About the Job:
This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves coordinating closely with the Business Implementation Office and other project teams on operational readiness topics. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing required operational readiness deliverables under the guidance of the Operational Readiness Manager, identifying, monitoring, and managing project issues and risks related to operational readiness, and ensuring deliverables are produced, approved, and accepted in accordance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the planning and coordination of cutover and operational readiness with primary focus on business preparedness
* Support various stakeholder groups to identify operational readiness priorities, coordinate resolution of related issues, and support operational readiness planning
* Coordinate closely with the Business Implementation Office and other project teams on operational readiness topics
* Prepare required operational readiness deliverables under the guidance of the Operational Readiness Manager
* Identify, monitor, and manage project issues and risks related to operational readiness and escalate as necessary
