We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Saskatchewan Inc.
Job Summary:The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a welcoming work environment for all employees.
- Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and ability to supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
