  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene, and provide emotional support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in special education or a related field an asset.
  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
