Job Summary
Ortec Environnement Services de Pointe-aux-Trembles, a leading industrial cleaning company, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including trucks and trailers, through a preventive maintenance program.
- Conduct reactive maintenance in case of equipment problems.
- Inspect and repair mechanical systems, including diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as air systems.
- Perform various welding tasks, such as design, assembly, repair, and fabrication.
- Complete daily work orders.
- Provide roadside assistance (mobile service).
Requirements
- DEP or equivalent in heavy vehicle mechanics and valid mechanical skills certificates.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Able to perform welding tasks (if necessary).
- Polyvalent, autonomous, resourceful, and able to work in a team.
- Health and safety is a top priority.
- Personal tool kit is a plus.
