Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests to identify equipment issues and recommend repairs
  • Service and repair a variety of heavy equipment, including container truck lifts, reach stackers, and front-end loaders
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and cleaning, to prevent equipment downtime
Requirements
  • High School diploma required; Diploma of Professional Studies in heavy mechanic/diesel mechanic preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
  • Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification an asset
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
