Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Cosmos Pizza (Thickwood) is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing their concerns and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a food service establishment, with a proven track record of success in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
