Food Service Manager

At Eagle Ridge Eatery & Cafe, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and manage inventory levels.
- Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, as well as maintain records of stock, repairs, and sales.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
