Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Eagle Ridge Eatery & Cafe. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train and develop our staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform our management team and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and we require our staff to be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity. The role involves standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling, and requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
