Key Responsibilities- Conduct surveillance and investigations to identify areas of loss and develop strategies to reduce shrinkage
- Work collaboratively with the security and investigations team to maintain the overall security of our locations
- Identify and apprehend individuals committing criminal offenses against the company
- Secure evidence, prepare reports, and testify in court as required
- Perform special assignments, including lock repair, key control, staff awareness, and orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a loss prevention or security role; experience in the retail industry an asset
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle required
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Competitive hourly rate: $17.15 - $21.17 per hour
