Physician - Primary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician - Primary Care Specialist to join our team at Medicentres. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other medical professionals to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Advise patients on health care
- Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities
- Be the patient advocate
- Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
- Provide acute care management
- Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
Requirements:
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Fast-paced environment
- Work under pressure
- Walking
- Standing for extended periods
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
