Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at The Royal Mental Health Centre. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy, including CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based modalities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in academic activities, including supervision and teaching
  • Contribute to program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from a CPA/APA accredited program
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical mental health settings
  • Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in mental health
  • Experience with recovery-based programs and psychiatric rehabilitation principles
