Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals with mental health disorders.
- Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessment instruments to inform treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in academic activities, including supervision and teaching of students and residents.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of program evaluation and research initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in clinical psychology.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from a CPA/APA accredited program.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical mental health settings, with at least 2 years of experience working with individuals with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders.
- Competency in delivering evidence-based treatments, including CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in mental health care.
