Job Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team at Nova Bus, a leading manufacturer of sustainable transportation solutions. As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Quality Team: Supervise a team of 12 employees, including technicians and quality monitors, to ensure the implementation of quality standards and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement process improvements to reduce defects and improve overall quality.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate quality standards and procedures to team members and stakeholders, and ensure that all quality-related information is accurately documented and reported.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or quality assurance.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, with a proven track record of improving quality and reducing defects.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and other quality-related software.
