Holcim is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Supervisor to manage the quality assurance processes for our asphalt and aggregate offerings. This position is crucial for maintaining product excellence, controlling expenses, optimizing resource use, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Safety Management:
  • Enforce safety regulations in line with industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to quality control and formulate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Organize safety training sessions for quality control personnel.
  • Oversee the implementation and evaluation of safety enhancement initiatives in laboratories and quality control.
  • Product Quality Assurance:
  • Establish and refine product specifications in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with operational teams to guarantee process integrity and product quality.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and address any discrepancies from established benchmarks.
  • Examine quality-related incidents, rectify issues, and implement preventive actions.
  • Quality Management and Compliance:
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for sustainability certifications.
  • Supervise the daily functions of technical staff.
  • Lead initiatives for quality management certifications.
  • Perform statistical evaluations of operational performance.
  • Technical Assistance:
  • Offer technical guidance to sales and product development teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical records and address customer queries.
  • Conduct evaluations of product performance and gather insights for enhancements.
  • Human Resource Development:
  • Recruit, train, assess, and mentor quality control staff.
  • Oversee the daily operations of technical personnel.

Required Skills and Experience:

A minimum of a three-year college diploma in civil engineering technology or a university degree in engineering. Five to eight years of experience in asphalt quality assurance. Bilingual proficiency is advantageous.
