Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Johnson Electric. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Work with the Operations, Quality, and Engineering Departments to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, including CNC and PLC-based equipment.
  • Ensure that all work is done in a safe and efficient manner, and that all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and implement new equipment and systems.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure that all work is done in accordance with Johnson Electric's Health and Safety policies, procedures, and quality systems.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician (442A or 309A) and relevant industrial experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in repair and maintenance of CNC machining and automated assembly applications in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on technical skills with respect to Electrical Assembly, Machine Repair, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic Systems, PLC, Fanuc Robots, and CNC-based control and logic systems.
  • Understanding of automotive systems and quality requirements based on Quality Operating Systems.
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
