About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Sinai Health. As a key member of our General and Obstetrical Ultrasound departments, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of ultrasound imaging procedures, including obstetrical, gynecological, abdominal, vascular, small parts, and neonatal exams.
  • Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring effective and efficient use.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting procedures and test results.
  • Participate in teaching, educational, research, safety, and quality improvement programs.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team of sonographers and radiologists in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited degree or post-diploma Ultrasound program.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Registration with Sonography Canada and the College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
  • 1 year of recent related experience.
  • Demonstrated maintenance of Continuing Medical Education credits.
