Job Description

Fernie is seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home setting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, promoting their emotional well-being.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, ensuring their physical and mental stimulation.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and preferences.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 37.5 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
