About the Role

Fernie is seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, promoting their emotional well-being
  • Organize activities such as games and outings to stimulate their growth and development
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to meet their dietary needs
  • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

The Home Childcare Provider will work in the employer's home, providing care and support to children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Working Hours

The working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
