Overpayment Resolution Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Overpayment Resolution Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing financial documents, assessing overpayments, and ensuring compliance with government policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overpayment Reviews: Analyze client bank statements and financial documents to determine if overpayments exist according to existing policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team, including other administrative staff and overpayment specialists, to manage overpayments using the Overpayment Tracker.
  • Communication & Systems Management: Utilize internal systems to track overpayments and collaborate with other departments.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Draft letters and other professional correspondence related to overpayments, and keep detailed records for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Policy & Legislation Guidance: Be well-versed in specific government policies and Income support overpayment legislation, and capable of explaining policies to other internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for details and can thoroughly review financial information for accuracy.
  • Self-Starter: You work independently, managing your own tasks and time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Organized: You are methodical in tracking overpayment cases and staying up to date on policy changes.
  • Policy-Savvy: You have prior experience working with government policies and can apply them to financial assessments.
  • Collaborative Team Player: You work well in a team, coordinating with various roles to ensure overpayment processes run smoothly.
