Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at PortageRx Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and providing patient care.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
- Help with scheduling and workflow, including managing inventory and ordering supplies.
- Perform general clerical duties, such as answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
- Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking and ordering supplies.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, including managing patient schedules and communicating with patients.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Our pharmacy is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and we are looking for someone who is able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
Language:English is the primary language spoken in our pharmacy, and we are looking for someone who is fluent in English.Hours of Work:
35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
