Pharmacy Assistant

PortageRx Pharmacy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.
Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including preparing medications and maintaining equipment.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Help with scheduling and workflow, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering of supplies.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
Our pharmacy is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will work closely with our pharmacists and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our pharmacy.
Language:English is the primary language spoken in our pharmacy, and proficiency in English is required for this role.Work Hours:
35 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
