Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to optimize data processing and reporting.
  • Partner with data engineers to evolve the overall technical ecosystem and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to facilitate ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Expertise in SQL coding, querying, and tuning, with experience working with large data volumes.
  • Experience with data vendor technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and DynamoDB.
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or an equivalent.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and architecture, including Star and/or Snowflake schema design.
  • Ability to optimize data warehouse costs and ETL processes.
