ETL / Talend Developer

This is a challenging opportunity to work with a large IT services firm for a major US-based bank. The ideal candidate must have legal work status for Canada and be willing to work in a hybrid environment with in-office days.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building solutions in Talend Studio based on business requirements and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement data integration workflows using Talend Studio.
  2. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  3. Optimize Talend job performance and scalability for large volumes of data.
  4. Develop and maintain ETL processes using Java 8+, Python, and shell scripting.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in ETL development using Talend.
  2. Strong understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
  3. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  4. Knowledge of financial services and data visualization tools.
  5. Proficient in DevOps tooling and practices.
