About the Role

As a key member of our Domain Consultant team at Palo Alto Networks, you will play a vital role in shaping the network security landscape for our customers. Your expertise in zero-trust solutions and your ability to provide technical guidance will be instrumental in helping organizations navigate their network security transformation journey.

Your Impact

  • You will collaborate with sales teams to develop customer solutions that meet their unique needs, leveraging your deep understanding of on-prem, cloud, and security services.
  • You will present to customers as an expert at all levels, from practitioners to senior leadership, showcasing our industry-leading solutions and establishing us as their cybersecurity partner of choice.
  • You will lead and support customer demonstrations, highlighting our unique value proposition and driving home the importance of a robust security posture.
  • You will be responsible for Technical Validation projects based on best practices, ensuring a technical win in assigned opportunities and architecting solutions that simplify and strengthen our customers' security posture.
  • You will document high-level design and key use cases to ensure proper implementation and value realization of our solutions.
  • You will lead conversations about emerging changes to the security landscape, positioning Palo Alto Networks as a trusted advisor and thought leader.
  • You will discuss and highlight product alignment with customer requirements, differentiating our solutions and driving adoption.
  • As the primary technical point of contact for Network Security, you will assist and collaborate to respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs, positioning our solutions as the best alternative.

Qualifications and Experience

  • You have 3+ years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE.
  • You possess outstanding customer communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of working with customers to drive successful outcomes.
  • You have a solid understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, and BYOD Solutions, with advanced knowledge of on-premise and cloud-delivered network security technologies.
  • You are proficient in English and have a strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between CAD $198,000 - $273,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, you can expect a bonus and restricted stock units. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
