About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Director to join our team at Pomeroy Lodging. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and public relations strategies to drive growth and revenue across our two premier mountain resorts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement integrated marketing and public relations strategies for both resorts, aligning with business objectives and driving growth.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, and email marketing, to increase online presence and drive traffic to our websites.
  • Public Relations: Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials, and organize and manage media events, press tours, and other PR initiatives to generate positive coverage.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, and ensure continuous professional development through training and development opportunities.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing and PR budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, and track expenditures and ROI to make data-driven decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing and public relations, within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven record of developing and executing successful marketing and PR campaigns.
  • Passion for travel, hospitality, and the outdoors.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
