About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at YARROW LIMITED PARTNERSHIP. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medical Support: Take patients' vital signs, administer medications, and provide basic first aid as needed.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including making beds, changing linens, and cleaning patient rooms.
  • Transportation: Safely transport patients to and from appointments, activities, and other destinations.
  • Communication: Respond to patients' needs, answer call signals, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Certifications: Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
