Job Summary

Skretting is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our Maintenance team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on electrical and mechanical installations and equipment to ensure the optimal running of production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair work on electrical and mechanical installations and equipment, including production machinery, electrical motors, and control systems.
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance activities to identify potential issues and prevent malfunctions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
  • Install, maintain, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
  • Perform emergency repairs and disassemble equipment as needed.
  • Work with colleagues to complete jobs of more extensive and complex nature.

Requirements

  • Completion of Electrical apprenticeship (Red Seal) and certification in Canada.
  • Minimum two years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to operate under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and deal with various stakeholders with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and adapt to a flexible work style.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate of $40.00-$50.00 per hour.
