Restaurant Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at the Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in Cranbrook, British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and supervise all restaurant staff to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of department staff to identify areas for improvement and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
  • Coordinate daily tasks and schedules of department staff to ensure seamless operations and efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure all new employees are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive attitude in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

  • Cares about their professional appearance and follows dress code standards.

  • Has strong leadership skills and exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Is organized, can perform under pressure within time restraints, and has problem-solving abilities.
  • Has Food and Beverage Server Certification.
